[The well of emotion will hit her, but not yet. In its initial place is a twisting of anxiety and uncertainty, of hope and wonder, of—of a lot of things, all of them fed into Bellamy's mind, emotions that she takes care not to introduce to others as if they don't exist at all. But it, naturally, would be foolish to believe that's the case. It's hard to love a person without feeling something in the first place, and it feels like what resistances she has begin to fade altogether.]

[ The first, nonsensical reaction: I can't look away from her. Bellamy lets it pass without attempting to narrow the channel between them. This is hardly unfamiliar ground for them. It reminds Bellamy of the day he'd arrived, and Lexa's anger had given way to this singular truth: she loved Clarke. ]

[ Simply, focus expanding enough to display the apartment, the couch Murphy had vacated, the ooze baby stretched across the pages of Bellamy's abandoned book. ]

[ He doesn't need to express any further need for urgency. Lexa has to feel that same hook in her ribs that Bellamy had felt when Clarke's mind had touched his own. ]

[I can't look away from her. Can she really blame him? It's a knowledge that's remained between them from the beginning, a knowledge they've only spoke of once. Then again, it had been the same with Clarke, a prying question passed between them, a selfish urge that she couldn't resist.]

( She must know I'm coming. )

[It's said like an order, but it's a precautionary measure more than anything. Her mind already reaches toward Clarke's, can feel the familiarity of the girl she loved. It happens in unison with one thing and one sense, sent to both of them: she's on her way.]

( You want me to tell her? )

[ Fleetingly, Bellamy thinks she wouldn't believe him. But that's not necessarily an issue. Bellamy has too many memories of Lexa rattling in his mind. None of them are things he would have cultivated on earth. ]

( Imagine what it would feel like to have a surprise like this. )

[For her, it's as simple as that.]

[ It's fair, even if Bellamy isn't certain he's the best person to prepare Clarke for Lexa's presence. His agreement is projected, obvious before Bellamy can manage any more concrete sentiment. ]
